Round Table Pizza: What’s Vegetarian Editorial Review

Round Table Pizza gives vegetarians two dedicated veggie pizzas, but the crust itself rules out anyone eating vegan. Every Round Table crust contains both milk and egg, and there’s no vegan cheese in the system, so this is a genuinely friendly stop for lacto-ovo vegetarians and a tough one for vegans. Nothing here carries a formal vegetarian marking, so the allergen chart is your best reference before ordering. Round Table has run this formula since 1959, and the vegetarian side of the menu hasn’t needed to change much.

What to order at Round Table Pizza

Guinevere’s Garden Delight, topped with tomatoes, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and black olives on red sauce, is the cleaner vegetarian pick since it skips the egg-and-milk white sauce. The Gourmet Veggie pizza adds artichoke hearts, zucchini, and spinach but sits on a Creamy Garlic Sauce with egg and milk. A build-your-own pie lets you load up on vegetable toppings, and the side garden salad or spinach salad without cheese are the closest things to vegan on the menu.

What to watch out for

The crust is the real obstacle for vegans, since milk and egg are baked into every dough regardless of toppings. Anchovies are an available topping and the only fish item on the chart, so say “no anchovy” if you’re avoiding fish. The Caesar salad is off-limits entirely for both vegetarians and vegans, and macaroni and cheese is vegetarian only. Fries and onion rings need a check on shared frying too.
