BIGGBY Coffee: What’s Vegetarian Editorial Review

BIGGBY Coffee’s menu is coffee-shop simple, which works in a vegetarian’s favor. Nearly every espresso drink, bagel, muffin, and snack skips meat entirely, and the one exception is easy to spot on the menu board, since it’s just one bagel sandwich with a meat-free version already built in.

What to order at BIGGBY Coffee

Plain or Everything Bagels are vegan, and the Vegan Sausage & Chao Cheese Bragel is available at select locations if you want something more filling. Black coffee, iced coffee, espresso, and cold brew are all vegan as poured, and you can build a fully vegan latte with soy, almond, coconut, or Sunrise Barista Blend oat milk. The Dark Chocolate Sea Salt KIND Bar and a plain banana round out the vegan snack options, so there’s something for a quick stop, not just a coffee.

What to watch out for

The Bragel line is where you need to pay attention, since Bacon, Ham, Sausage, and Turkey Havarti versions all contain meat, while the Egg & Cheese Bragel is vegetarian but not vegan. The Asiago Bagel has cheese baked into the dough, so it’s vegetarian only. If you want a vegan latte, skip the Caramel Marvel, White Lightning, Mint Chip, Caramel, Marshmallow, and White Chocolate sauces, along with the Chai Latte, since all of them bring in dairy or honey.
