Togo’s: What’s Vegetarian Editorial Review

Togo’s menu is built around cold cuts and hot meats, but three sandwiches on the standard lineup skip meat entirely. Add a couple of salads and wraps you can order without the protein, and vegetarians walk away with real choices instead of a side salad. The chain runs about 145 locations concentrated on the West Coast, so this list should hold wherever you find one.

What to order at Togo’s

The #15 Greek Veggie stacks hummus, cucumbers, feta, and roasted red peppers with balsamic dressing, and it’s the easiest one to make vegan since you just skip the feta. The #21 Cali Veggie brings avocado, cucumbers, provolone, and mayo. Drop the cheese and mayo for a vegan build. The #22 Cheese sandwich works if you eat dairy, and the Farmer’s Market Salad or Wrap covers you with greens, tomatoes, carrots, and red onions. Chicken salads and wraps also work meat-free if you ask the team to leave the chicken out.

What to watch out for

Most of the vegetarian sandwiches lean on cheese, so ask for it left off if you’re vegan. The Farmer’s Market Salad and Wrap need the same treatment: no feta or cheddar, and a vegan dressing on the side. Broccoli Cheddar Soup is off the table for vegans since it’s built on dairy. Togo’s slices meat and builds vegetarian orders on the same prep line, so mention it if cross-contact matters to you.
