Jamba Juice: What’s Vegetarian Editorial Review

Jamba Juice makes the call easy, since almost everything on the menu is vegetarian, and the chain actually labels its vegan options for you. The smoothies, fresh juices, and acai bowls that built the brand are plant-forward by default, and a dedicated Plant-Based section on the menu means you don’t have to guess at the counter.

What to order at Jamba Juice

Head straight for the Plant-Based section: Apple ‘n Greens, Greens ‘n Ginger, Mega Mango, Strawberry Whirl, and Peach Perfection are all vegan exactly as listed, built on fruit and juice blends with no dairy. Fresh Juices like orange, carrot, and cucumber blends are vegan too, and Wellness Shots (ginger, turmeric, wheatgrass) are a quick add-on. Acai and smoothie bowls go vegan as long as you skip the honey and yogurt.

What to watch out for

Most standard smoothies are vegetarian as built but need a swap to a non-dairy milk, like almond, coconut, oat, or soy, to go fully vegan. Sweet and savory pretzels contain dairy, so they’re vegetarian only. The one real meat corner of the menu is breakfast: the sandwiches and wraps, including the turkey sausage wrap, aren’t vegetarian at all, and the cheese flatbreads are vegetarian but not vegan. Outside that breakfast case, this is one of the easiest chains on the list, and the Plant-Based label does the guesswork for you.
